How to Set Up Your Google Business Profile
This SOP walks you through creating and verifying your Google Business Profile for better visibility on Google Search and Maps.
Step 1: Go to Google Business Profile
Visit https://www.google.com/business/ and click on Manage now.
Step 2: Sign in with Your Google Account
Use the Gmail address for your business or one your developer created. Contact tyler@lewistekinc.com if unsure.
Step 3: Enter Your Business Name
Type your business name exactly how you want it shown to customers on Google.
Step 4: Choose Your Business Category
Select a category that describes your business (e.g., “Web Designer”, “Trailer Dealership”).
Step 5: Add Location & Service Areas
Add a business address if you have one. If not, select the areas you serve.
Step 6: Add Contact Info
Provide a business phone number and website (e.g., lewistekinc.com).
Step 7: Verify Your Business
Choose how to verify your business: postcard, phone call, or email. Complete the verification steps.
Step 8: Finalize & Optimize
Once verified, add your logo, photos, hours, description, and booking link. Keep your profile updated.
